Why does "whoopie pies" link to an article about moon pies? Whoopie pies and moon pies are completely different.

I grew up in PA Dutch country and I never heard of "rivvel soup". I think you are referring to Chicken Corn Soup with Rivels. A rivel is a pea sized dumpling that is dropped into the boiling soup.

Seven sweets and sours

edit

I came to this page via a link titled "seven sweets and seven sours" on the apple butter page, but I could find no reference to this term here. Does anyone have information on what is traditionally included in this array? 71.43.254.122 (talk) 19:25, 2 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Extending the scope

edit

Hi, this article's scope could be extended to cover "German" influences in American cuisine in general, as the German article does. Or maybe we could create a new article covering that. What do you think? Cheers, Horst-schlaemma (talk) 12:06, 11 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Haystacks?

edit

I noticed that Haystack (food) indicates it is part of Amish cuisine. Does it belong on this list? Ibadibam (talk) 03:22, 11 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
