Curcubita argyrosperma? edit

This has been marked as being able to be improved from French WP. However French WP has no article for C. mixta. The article fr:Cucurbita argyrosperma links back to this article in the Interwiki links, but I am not sure they are the same species (and that link may have been added by a bot).

So, while I am happy to merge in the French content as best I can, I want to confirm first that they are indeed the same species? Note there is no en:Curcurbita argyrosperma on English WP, even as a redirect. It is just mentioned as a synonym in the infobox, perhaps incorrectly?

Wrong Species edit

In the section labeled "Food", there is currently a one-sentence paragraph that reads as follows:

"The plant's adaptation to warm climates, and a resistance to squash borers, make it very competitive in the agricultural industry. It is used especially in the southern states of the U.S. for use in pies, preferred over other pumpkins by some cooks."

None of the points made in this paragraph actually apply to Cucurbita argyrosperma. Instead, all of these points actually apply to Cucurbita moschata. If you need a reference, one good source (albeit a bit old) is "Plants for Man, Second Edition", copyright 1972 by Robert W. Schery. The section on C. moschata appears on page 530. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:301C:C4B0:8550:FC9F:7411:11B3 (talk) 03:15, 23 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
