"... was a 50-episode ..."

  • "Is", surely? Isn't Wikipedia policy to treat programmes not on their original run as extant? (You never know what cable or satellite channels might be showing them.)
  • "50-episode" makes it sound like a serial. Each programme had a separate story. — Paul G 12:38, 27 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
  • 50 episode sounds fine to me, as that’s a common term for a single “unit” (for want of a better word) of any series, in UK English at least; in fact “episodic” is used to make a distinction with “serial” TV. No, what confuses me is the assertion that “Each of the 50 episodes lasted five-minutes, including a 20-minute Christmas special”. Is the Christmas Special four 5 minute episodes back-to-back, are there fifty 5 minute episodes and a 20 minute Christmas Special, or should it be “There are 49 episodes of 5 minutes duration, and one Christmas Special of 20 minutes”? Actually I just found this site which says that it was 50 episodes and the 20 minute special http://www.toonhound.com/crystaltipps.htm If anyone can coroborate that, the line could be amended. Jock123 (talk) 12:52, 10 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
