British Railways reduced the entire extension line to single track after 1947. edit

What is the evidence for that? RM Sept 1957 says the decking was renewed in 1928 and "soon afterwards" reduced to single track. It doesn't say when the 8mph speed limit was introduced.Johnragla (talk) 01:56, 18 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
