Conflicts involving Critical Mass

The Conflicts involving Critical Mass page (without a discussion page) had three separate incidents with POV concerns. The July San Fransisco section in specific was overt. Please edit as appropriate.Cptnono (talk) 04:44, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

Sweden

Critical Mass-like bike tours with hundreds of participants took place in Stockholm, Sweden in the early 1970s.[1]

This has nothing to do with this article. It was apparently added by someone who placed this information on a personal website and linked to it from here. The history of the San Francisco phenomenon is independent of any Swedish antecedent, and has altogether different roots. Viriditas (talk) 10:54, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
According to this link the idea came from China. It's covered on-wiki in the biographical article on George Bliss. Viriditas (talk) 11:21, 11 February 2009 (UTC)

Per WP:ELNO: Links to open wikis, except those with a substantial history of stability and a substantial number of editors are to be avoided. Does [2] meet that criteria?Cptnono (talk) 06:46, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

More to the point, is that page significant enough to warrant inclusion? The nature of the anarchy that is Critical Mass makes it hard to tell. Reub2000 (talk) 22:45, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
