Merge w/ forensics edit

I just moved {{merge|Forensics}} to the talk page. This tag was added by Mayurpatel, a couple minutes after the article was created.

A common misconception of crime analysis is that crime analysts do forensic analysis, like on CSI. That's not the case, but rather the job is more of a statistician, researcher, geographer, ... Crime analysts do not go to crime scenes to investigate or do forensic analysis. [1] [2] --Aude 19:19, 21 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

I have added a section in relation to crime analysis in the UK, to aid persons interested in the role in the UK and elsewhere and to improve the general provision of this page. I would invite any informed persons to improve the article as required. I have provided three external links to provide background information to information supplied nin my edit. omg94 (UK, Police Senior Analyst)Omg94 (talk) 15:36, 15 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
