Although Cricket Wireless is somewhat of a new company, they have managed to strive over the issues in question. People complained about the service not working in certain areas. Those areas are all out of the "Calling Area". People just didn't know that roaming is supposed to be pre-paid (as Cricket is a Pre-Paid, month to month service provider). It's all simple, pre-paid and unlimited. Nothing else beats it.

It may help provide a balanced perspective to help readers understand the function of prepaid wireless service providers and the similarities and differences between prepaid wireless service providers and "facilities-based" wireless services, which manage their own physical infrastructure, in order to better understand the role a subsidiary like Cricket would provide to a major wireless provider like AT&T. Being merged with Aio Wireless
Aio Wirless, a lower cost AT&T service, is new - yet is already closing. AT&T said that it plans on merging Aio into Cricket Wireless. But AT&T coverage came from AT&T's cell phone tower network, using GSM technology. However, Cricket uses Sprint's network, which is MUCH smaller than AT&T's network, and which also uses the totally different CDMA technology. How can this possibly work?

Expensive World Cup soccer ad
