"To give birth?" edit
"Criar" doesnt mean "to give birth". "Criar" means "to rise", and "cria" also refers to the recently-born status of some animals that doesnt have a different name for the baby (in spanish), like crocrodile hatchlings (so, the rest of the article is correct, but not that particular sentence).
I should edit it by myself, but I dont want to annoy around.

According to this article, the term cria applies to the young of the guanaco, but in the 'guanaco' article it is stated that the young is called a 'churengo'. Which is correct, or can both terms be used? 121.220.133.8 (talk) 06:59, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
Article seriously needs work. "Criar" translates as "to raise" or "to rear" (young). Cria in no way refers solely to 4-legged critters. Erroneus Article ǃ edit
This article is plainly wrong. In Spanish "cria" means the offspring or pup of any animal, it is incorrect to say it is only used for llama, alpaca, vicuña or guanaco. (See Cria in Wiktionary )--Uruk (talk) 18:34, 29 November 2019 (UTC)
