Does this warrant a stand alone article ? Unlike, say, Formula One which is a sport in it's own right irrespective of sponsorship, my understanding is that this sport is largely created by Red bull themselves? Thoughts anyone?Pedro |  Chat  15:40, 24 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Name edit

Where does that "Crashed Ice" come from? Header says Crashed Ice is a winter extreme sporting event, which involves downhill skating in an urban environment, on a track which includes steep turns and high vertical drops. In finnish, the name is literally "downhill skating". That could possibly be a better name for an article. 85.217.22.101 (talk) 14:28, 14 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

This is about the Crashed Ice world tour, which is a league in the event. The event itself is actually called "ice cross downhill". 76.65.128.132 (talk) 08:23, 20 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Blatant advertizing edit

The article was either copied from Red Bull promotional material, or written in the same style. Complete violation of wikipedia rules, complete with direct hooks (addressing the reader as "you", inviting him/her to register, with links, etc). I did some basic editing, but the whole article is still hardly above the level of a commercial leaflet paid for by Red Bull.... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.74.30.118 (talk) 14:28, 2 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
