"he covered the battle of the banlieue in France" => a battle ? are you sure there was a "battle" ? Is he meant to have acted as some kind of a war reporter here ? I am French and never heard of any civil war here in my lifetime. Maybe I am a victim of some local propaganda ? see 2005_Paris_suburb_riots for more info and notice the paragraph distinguishing these events from the L.A. riots
