The Australian context map is surely too large for what's in the article so far! Surely it would be better to have a map of the park rather than the oz continent! User:SatuSuro 02:50, 23 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

That map is standard for the australian protected areas infobox and it would be very difficult to find a map of the park itself that we could use. It is designed to locate the site. A map of Tasmania might be more appropriate tho --maelgwntalk 05:01, 23 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

A map of Tasmania (and other individual states) in SVG format would be best but a tailor-made map in PNG format could be used. I've been deterred from SVG mapmaking myself because I'm on dialup and Adobe Illustrator is a 400MB download. - Diceman 15:28, 23 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

I've re-used a Tasmania map from a set of unused locator maps I made shortly before the latest protected area infobox changes. I found a program that can convert bmp's to svg called SVG factory which saves the huge download. The map is a bit lacking in detail though. - Diceman 14:13, 30 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

File:Pelion Range from Mt Oakleigh.jpg to appear as POTD soon edit

Hello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:Pelion Range from Mt Oakleigh.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on September 18, 2011. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2011-09-18. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page so Wikipedia doesn't look bad. :) Thanks! howcheng {chat} 20:56, 15 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
