Contested deletion edit

This article should not be speedy deleted as having no substantive content, because the movie has been announced by Akshay Kumar on his Facebook Page today. The article would be improved day by day, as other user able to see this article and they gonna contribute. --Iamgauravkumar (talk) 11:47, 15 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Iamgauravkumar, if you are going to edit Wikipedia film articles, you need to familiarize yourself with the bare minimum standards for an article to exist. WP:NFF covers film articles. You need to establish, with reliable sources, that a film has begun principal photography. Films are planned all the time some are shelved. Principal photography is the minimum threshold. Redirect edit

In this edit I redirected the article to Neeraj Pandey. There was already a deletion discussion about this and the result was to redirect. There was no effort made to establish that the film had begun principal photography, which is Film Article 101. Per WP:NFF:

Films that have not been confirmed by reliable sources to have commenced principal photography should not have their own articles, as budget issues, scripting issues and casting issues can interfere with a project well ahead of its intended filming date. The assumption should also not be made that because a film is likely to be a high-profile release it will be immune to setbacks—there is no "sure thing" production. Until the start of principal photography, information on the film might be included in articles about its subject material, if available. Sources must be used to confirm the start of principal photography after shooting has begun. (Emphasis theirs)
