Why? edit

Out of pure curiosity and benefit of the article: what is the MOTIVATION behind Counterprogramming? Similarly, what are the reasons NOT to do it? 145.100.125.133 (talk) 11:55, 24 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Gentleman's agreement edit

There isn't any citation for this aspect at all. Personally, it's probably more of a "we don't stand a chance unless we're trying to intentionally do something distracting" situation. ViperSnake151  Talk  06:11, 30 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Yet another article written by people who seem to think that nothing exists outside of the USA. Write with a global viewpoint or write nothing! Superbowl may be popular in the USA but, when broadcast, it obtains few viewers elsewhere. The article should focus on things like the World Cup final which would dominate schedules in dozens of countries or Eurovision which performs strongly throughout Europe. And the Academy Awards? Really? Never heard of anybody who would watch that outside of the USA - read about it on a website or newspaper, maybe. Watch it on TV - no. Unless completely rewritten this article should be deleted.--XANIA - ЗAНИAWikipedia talk | Wikibooks talk 20:31, 16 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
