Sociological Meaning

A lot of people use "corporate identity" to mean the way individuals self-identify with a group. After a little googling, it seems that Wikipedia lists this as "social identity theory." Would it be a good idea to add one of those notes that say something like "if you're looking for the [sociological? corporatist?] meaning, see Social_identity_theory"?
