Lede expanded

edit

I finished expanding the lede, which was the last of the projects for this page. I'll wait a few days, then submit it for a FA review. If anyone points out problems with this article before then, I'll hold off so we can address them. I don't want to submit this article for FA over and over again. Coral Springs and 9/11

edit

At 15:44, 20 March 2015, I inserted the following text, which was reverted after an hour and a half: "Despite this reputation (or probably ''because of it''), [[Mohamed Atta]], one of the [[September 11 attacks|9/11]] terrorists, managed to hide out there for about a month, undetected. From April 11 to sometime in mid-May, 2001, he lived at Unit 122 in the Tara Gardens apartment complex, at 10001 West Atlantic Boulevard.<ref>[http://www.911myths.com/index.php/Mohamed_Atta_Timeline Atta's movements before the attack]</ref><ref>[http://coralsprings.com/frontpage2/attacoralsprings.htm "A Terrorist Amongst Us" feature from the city website]</ref>"

I know this edit is POV, but why else was it reverted? Is it appropriate to include the 9/11 connection in the article on the city? What do you think? 162.104.213.40 (talk) 00:31, 30 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

I reverted it because it was pov. This is the diff for the actual edit [1]. Coralsprings.com is not the city's website, and the other reference is fringe in the extreame. This does not belong in any wikipedia article, and your editorializing on the already poor info doesn't either. And it being pov is plenty of reason to revert it on its own.John from Idegon (talk) 00:58, 30 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
