Two stations or one?

edit

The article tries to described a single station named "Lufthavnen", which is serviced by the metro as well as mainline trains. This does not quite match reality. Most conspicuously, the mainline station is named "Københavns Lufthavn, Kastrup" (though the comma sometimes is missing) in everything from timetables to platform signage.

It would be most correct, in my opinion, to say that there are two rail stations in the vicinity of Copenhagen Airport:

  • A mainline station "Københavns Lufthavn Kastrup", directly below Terminal 3.
  • A metro station "Lufthavnen", accessible by stairs and a walkway from the landside end of Terminal 3.

However, it would be confusing for readers who are not prepared to make such fine distinctions if we had two different articles. I think, therefore (but am prepared to be convinced otherwise) that we should have a single article that describes both stations, but describes them as being distinct, in different sections and with separate s-rail tables. Then Københavns Lufthavn, Kastrup Station and Københavns Lufthavn Kastrup Station should redirect here, and be used in succession links at København H. –Henning Makholm 02:44, 30 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

This seems a reasonable approach to me. David Arthur (talk) 15:00, 30 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I have added description of the more detailed location of the 2 stations in the airport, and the 3rd which has the same name as the airport - but is not at the airport. Hope it is clear...

About the table in the bottom I have a problem. There is no traffic on the "CphRos" system, and actually there never as been any traffic on this system which involved both Copenhagen Central (KH) and the airport (CPH). Only "KH to Roskilde" or "CPH to Roskilde" (bypassing KH). This line should be deleted but I can't manage...

Finally about the R40 system. There are now two systems, one the old R40 running Elsinore-KH-airport-Malmö and beyond. Another later system runs now between Nivå (south of Elsinore, also served by R40) to KH, to the airport and sometimes to Malmö South.
