A fact from Cooloola monster appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 31 October 2015 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
It seems to be generally OK. I fixed lots of typos on this and the Cooloolidae page and moved the material about the Cooloolidae family to that page. There seem to exist slightly different taxonomies in this area (compare [1] and [2]), but apart from that the entries appear sound. Both the animal and the park exist -- so it's certainly more than just a hoax or a pun on "cool" :-) I removed "Rentz 1980" from the name and mentioned the discovery explicitly instead.
