copyright material removed from Plot section
editCopyright problem removed
editPrior content in this article duplicated one or more previously published sources. The material was copied from: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2640640/plotsummary?ref_=tt_stry_pl. Copied or closely paraphrased material has been rewritten or removed and must not be restored, unless it is duly released under a compatible license. (For more information, please see "using copyrighted works from others" if you are not the copyright holder of this material, or "donating copyrighted materials" if you are.)
For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or published material; such additions will be deleted. Contributors may use copyrighted publications as a source of information, and, if allowed under fair use, may copy sentences and phrases, provided they are included in quotation marks and referenced properly. The material may also be rewritten, providing it does not infringe on the copyright of the original or plagiarize from that source. Therefore, such paraphrased portions must provide their source. Please see our guideline on non-free text for how to properly implement limited quotations of copyrighted text. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. While we appreciate contributions, we must require all contributors to understand and comply with these policies. Thank you. Gab4gab (talk) 10:42, 30 December 2016 (UTC)
Unreliable sources
editThere were multiple sources that are unreliable. The Bangla Movie Database source appears to be similar to Imdb. If so it's not a reliable source because it allows user contributed content. Imdb was cited as a source although it has been removed for now due to a copyright violation. Gab4gab (talk) 11:27, 30 December 2016 (UTC)
Notability
editThe current sources fail to satisfy WP:NFILM. Although one is currently a dead link. The other three contribute very little to notability. If others exist it would be very helpful to identify them to help argue against deletion at Afd.
- The bandlanews24.com article is largely a review of Popy's career. The film is mentioned but only to say it was the debut for Popy, released in 1997 and did well at the box office. Not significant coverage of Coolie the film.
- The prothom-alo.com article is an interview of Popy. The intro mentions that Popy's first film in 1997 was a great success. The title Coolie isn't even mentioned. Nothing more is said about Coolie. The rest of the article is questions and answers from Popy. Not significant coverage of Coolie the film. If Popy had mentioned Coolie it would not contribute to notability because she is not independent.
- The Bangla Movie Database reference provides little coverage of the film. There is no review/commentary. Like Imdb it contributes little to notability because it is a comprehensive file guide.
Gab4gab (talk) 11:47, 30 December 2016 (UTC) (revised spelling of Popy which is the name Sadika Parvin Popy is known by in the sources) Gab4gab (talk) 16:30, 6 January 2017 (UTC)
- AFd was closed as no consensus February 9, 2017. The number of sources used has increased to 12, still with no significant coverage of this film. Gab4gab (talk) 14:43, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
challenged unsourced content
editBudget and Box office entries in the film info box have been challenged as unsupported by reliable sources. They were removed, restored and removed again. They were unreferenced in the info box. They should not be restored until consensus is reached here or references to reliable sources are provided. Gab4gab (talk) 13:59, 15 January 2017 (UTC)
