Splitting the article edit
I gather out of the current state of the article that there are two meanings of samen term 'CDU'. I recommend splitting this article in two other articles, namely Control Display Unit (Aviation) and Control Display Units (Marine Technology) or something like that. Autopilot misunderstanding edit
The Flight Management System (FMS) and the Autopilot are different systems (i.e. not a synonym for each other). The FMS has an interface to the Autopilot allowing the former to feed the latter with flight guidance signals.--The Sim (talk) 22:32, 28 April 2009 (UTC)
