Name

is the new name of the International University Bremen

Somebody moved the name ftom "Jacobs University Bremen" to "Jacobs University". This is not correct. In the same document I can't see a statement that the name is Jacobs University Bremen, I only see that tha university is in Bremen and that the name of the company that runs it is Jacobs University Bremen GmBH, but the logo of the institution itself says only Jacobs university, in contrast to IUB, which contained Bremen in its logo. This documents states: "Change of name in 2007 to Jacobs University Bremen" and "the board of IUB decided to change the university’s name to Jacobs University Bremen", while the logo is a logo but not an official name --84.164.204.67 17:19, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

Although the full name of the university is rarely used, except for the historical event and in the company's name, it is Jacobs University Bremen. I still think there should be "of/in Bremen". Official prints use mostly "Jacobs University" or JU for short. I guess there could be some agreement behind the endowment. Im Mai 2014 wurde bekannt, dass die Jacobs University in Bremen-Grohn 65 Stellen streicht. Die Betriebsratsvorsitzende [chair of works committee] Gabriele Graf verteidigte gegenüber Radio Bremen die Position der Uni-Präsidentin:

Die Geschäftsführung hat ja nicht irgendwas gebastelt. Da steht ja Sinn und Verstand dahinter.

Does not feel as an encyclopedia article
