Chia Thye Poh
I feel that the part on Chia Thye Poh is irrelevant in this article. The Constitution (Part XII) does provide special powers to government "against subversion". Therefore, detention by ISD does not violate the Constitution. Discussion of Chia Thye Poh should better move to more relevant articles such as Internal Security Department, Politics of Singapore or Chia Thye Poh itself. I mean, it is not really an issue related to the Constitution of Singapore. --Vsion 10:23, 13 August 2005 (UTC)
Really? If detaining someone without trial for as long as Chia was detained is not contrary to the Constitution, that what we have is an Emperor's New Clothes constitution. Fundamental liberties derogated
