A fourth way to amend the Constitution?

Since the Phil Constitution is based upon the American, why can't the Phil Constitution be amended like the US Constitution is, without calling a convention or an assembly, or by an initiative, but rather as if it is a regular bill? There is nothing in the Constitution to forbid the "American way", so to speak. --Bruce Hall (talk) 15:31, 24 August 2011 (UTC)

Again, the phrase "Constituent Assembly" is not in the Philippine Constitution. There should be some discussion about how this idea that Congress should meet in a ConAss came about. --Bruce Hall (talk) 04:16, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
