Hasluck locates the bridge on the Rhyndacus river (Mustafakemalpaşa Çayı in Google Maps) which lies further south. It is true that he adds "at Uluabat", but since the region was much less urbanized a century ago, this does not necessarily mean in the immediate vicinity of the town.
