Abrupt end edit

The last event mentioned in the text is her second marraige, in 1920, but she died in 1970. Did nothing happen in the last 50 years of her life? --Piledhigheranddeeper (talk) 15:45, 25 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

I too wondered about that. It seems that she withdrew from public life in 1920, as I haven't been able to find a single source that describes her life after her second marriage, which is rather odd. Surtsicna (talk) 16:44, 25 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Surname misspelt edit

The article title misspells her surname - it should read LEWIS not LEWES.Cloptonson (talk) 09:22, 13 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Alimony settlement record edit

I have quoted the 1972 Guinness Book of Records (copy I possess) to indicate her alimony settlement - worth £275,730 in 2005 - was highest in British legal history at time and even into the early 1970s. Has that figure been superseded more recently (as I suspect it may) given changes in divorce laws, inflation and the size of millionaire estates in Britain are dwarfing the wealth of the 2nd Duke of Westminster?Cloptonson (talk) 09:14, 18 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
