Episode on the Bilderberg group edit

There is a current discussion on whether to mention the Bilderberg episode cliams on the Bilderberg group page, or on a separate page. The discussion is taking place here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons/Noticeboard#Jesse_Ventura_and_Bilderberg_Group John Hyams (talk) 13:32, 10 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

the article says that it IS BROADCAST on wednesday, meantime all broadcasts have stopped, any information on why?? edit

As I said, its obvious that the show hasn't been airing on trutv, or any other channels for several weeks now. I cant seem to find any information anywhere about why the show was suddenly dropped. Somebody must know more about this , so please add some information here if anyone knows. Also very interested in knowing if any new episodes are being filmed or set to be filmed, and if not, what else jesse is up to. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.108.114.107 (talk) 10:41, 18 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

show/topic ideas, anyone know what topics are being discussed in season 2 yet? do they plan to do one about artificial sweeteners edit

anyone know what the shows will be about in season 2? Artificial sweeteners are surely a conspiracy , and I pray they do a show on them. The public is mislead into thinking they are harmless chemicals. Alot of doctors and supposed "experts" make people feel they would be crazy to suspect something so mondain as a sweetener is harming or killing them. The whole process that the sweeteners are even approved into the food supply to begin with is definatly a conspiracy. Its a crime against all humanity and needs to be exposed to the masses , with the ultimate goal of a complete boycott from the food supply, and class action lawsuits. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.160.131.17 (talk) 21:18, 9 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Change in episodes edit

Does anyone know why they pulled the Great Lakes (water) episode and did not air the Area 51 episode tonight (10/22) when it was originally scheduled? Everything got pushed back a week and the Great Lakes episode is no longer listed on TruTV. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.80.49.118 (talk) 01:53, 23 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Well its possible this is Season 2, and there will be a Season 2.5 because there are other episodes not listed such as another 9/11 related show, and now the ep that was going to be the finale of season 2 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.49.130.21 (talk) 13:01, 27 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Oh alright, you're probably right about that. I found out why they didn't air the Area 51 episode on 10/22. It was due to the Yankees/Rangers ALCS game and they figured people would watch that since it was at the same time so everything got pushed back. This is what Jesse said on Alex Jones' show yesterday 10/27.

Wasn't there also suppose to be an episode on the BP Oil spill? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.94.251.190 (talk) 03:58, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Just and FYI - some of these networks do some last minute changes especially around the holidays. For instance History rescheduled some of their Ancient Aliens episodes for seemingly no reason. Not sure why the Great Lakes episode is gone - it probably just got moved off the website so I wouldn't draw conclusions or "comspiracies" as to why until we see what happens. Cyberia23 (talk) 05:22, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

I too think they are doing the split season thing, likely will have 4 or 5 more episodes for Season 2.5 and I would bet it will start up again with those episodes in January 2011. Great Lakes, 9/11 #2 (Pentagon), BP Oil Spill are the episodes coming up from what we can tell. Anyone know what the possible 1 or 2 other episodes may be about? We know Aerosol Spraying has not been worked on by Ventura yet, so that is not one, and we know (from the S2 premiere post show web special that Ventura does not really recognize the World Government status like a lot of us do so there would be no episode on that either. Maybe Project Bluebeam (though that was touched upon in the Area 51 episode already). Thoughts? I see the main article shows now that Great Lakes will be on Dec. 3. How do we know this to be true? Where'd that date come from. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.168.30.15 (talk) 22:36, 21 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

This board is for discussing the article only, not a discussion forum about the show. The airdates were from the truTV website. Cyberia23 (talk) 07:16, 22 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

To the last person who said this is a discussion about the article only...this board is for discussing the show which the article is written about. If something changes with the show, it affects the article. By the way, we might want to mention how there are some behind the scenes things going on. Alex Jones said along with multiple other alternative media outlets that the Police State episode was only aired once even though it was scheduled to re-air two more times and pulled both times. It is because of pressure from our government and elites about the truth behind the Police State episode that they don't want it aired again. Also they are doing an episode on the BP Oil Spill, I heard Alex Jones mention that too who is in the episode as a consultant he said. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.31.106.34 (talk) 17:54, 3 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

I've responded to this on your talk page Cyberia23 (talk) 04:33, 4 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Also, this episode is NO LONGER listed on TruTV's website for Conspiracy Theory. They skip over it from Wall Street to the JFK Assassination. There's no reason it should be pulled from the list when it already aired. I think this should be mentioned in the article as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.31.106.34 (talk) 17:58, 3 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Alex Piper edit

I noticed Alex Piper is in some episodes of Season 2. So, I think the portion stating he was replaced should be reworded to be more accurate here. Not that we know the specifics, but we do know he is also in some Season 2 episodes. Also in the right panel there is a (Season 1) next to his name, this should be changed too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.168.30.15 (talk) 22:28, 21 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

I think these episodes are aired out of the order from when they were filmed. Cyberia23 (talk) 07:08, 22 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
Probably. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.168.30.15 (talk) 14:25, 22 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

DVR deletion edit

The article currently states "On January 5, 2011, radio host Alex Jones reported that Direct TV, TiVO, Comcast and AT&T customers specifically had various episodes of Conspiracy Theory, namely the "Police State" episode and several others from the show, disappear off their DVR memories after a system update, with no other programs seemingly affected". This is source to "prisonplanet." which isn't a reliable source for... well... anything. Someone previously pulled it off and I concur with the reasoning behind doing so. I'm going to boldly do the same pending better sourcing. V7-sport (talk) 21:04, 15 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

It was deleted because of "lack of evidence," but there is more than one site that reported on these DVR deletions. As for a "better source," that depends on what you consider what would be "better source," because you won't find any of the mainstream media covering it. At the time they were much to busy with celebrity bimbo of the week. Unfortunately, there is just Alex Jone's report, the obvious deletions of the program from TruTV.com and their programming rotations, and whoever else happened to followed up on it - mostly other conspiracy sites. The fact is, the story was reported, it can be referenced to a source, and it seems pertinent to the article which is why I had added it to begin with. Whether you or the faceless anon believe it or not is really a matter of opinion. It's just as hard to prove that it DIDN'T happen as proving that it DID. I just believe the story should be known. Cyberia23 (talk) 05:40, 16 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hey Cyberia23, any way of sourcing this better then Alex Jones?V7-sport (talk) 22:10, 16 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Like I asked, that depends on what you think constitutes as "a better source". I did look for more coverage on this, and Alex Jones's PrisonPlanet.com and InfoWars.com are really the only ones reporting on this since they broke the story. There is also a few postings about it on Jessie Ventura's blog and the Facebook page for Conspiracy Theory (but since personal blogs and Facebook links are not acceptable references on Wikipedia, they cannot be used). The only other more established sites reporting on this are a Ron Paul website and WeAreChange.org, but they simply link back to Alex Jone's original report on it.
As I also said, the mainstream media never picked this up, (and most likely never will because Alex Jones and Ventura are crackpots in their eyes). When Bill O'Reilly covered Jone's recent appearance on The View (only because he's close friend to Charlie Sheen), O'Rrly said he didn't know who "that guy" was, which is total BS. He knows full well who Jones is because they crossed paths before. But that just goes to show you the attitude the mainstream has towards him. Besides, those same mainstream media networks are owned by the same companies that own the cable/satellite providers, and if they were "ordered" to delete the shows off the DVRs, you really think they'd have their news shows report on it? Highly doubtful. Anyway, I'm not going to argue over this anymore, I made my points, so if you want to delete it, then whatever, I don't care. Cyberia23 (talk) 05:30, 17 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Well as Alex Jones is a horrid source, he is known to lie contently; and as there is no corroborating evidence, I will delete the DVR Section. It should also be known that I HAVE an AT&T DVR with the episode on it and it was NEVER deleted. Darkhomer89 (talk) 21:46, 17 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, we'll just take your word for it since you have absolutely no bias, right. Cyberia23 (talk) 02:29, 18 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

season 3:why would ventura even use commercial flights-and what about alternative hosts edit

If he doesn't want to host anymore I hope the producers wont cancel the show over it, im sure there are plenty of other potentialy good hosts. But if ventura is always having problems on commercial flights, why wouldnt he just charter a flight?! Im sure he and/or the producers have plenty of money spend to charter a private plane, which im certain would solve this tsa patdown problem. Please keep the article current and updated about season 3 - season 2 was way too short as it is. (dont most shows run for 6-9 months typically?) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gawdsmak (talkcontribs) 12:20, 10 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

If new info comes along I'll be sure to update it. In answer to your questions though, Ventura was on Piers Morgan a few days ago and they brought up the commercial flight thing, as he is currently touring the country for his new book and he's flying on charter planes the publisher hooked him up with, and he said if CT were to go into a 3rd season then he'd only fly on private planes. It seems the real problem with season 3 lies in whether or not the producers and TruTV want to deal with another season of potential backlash and censorship like the last. Both groups have shown interest in doing a 3rd season, but Ventura said that when dealing with Hollywood is there is always a bunch of talk but you have to see it to believe it.
