"At least one Greek Cypriot youth argued sucessfully with the Ministry of Defence that the National Guard is an unconstitutional institution; he was exempted from conscription." Any references-links about this? Surely this would set up a legal precedent that would have been used by more people, especially conscientious objectors, but I ve never heard of such a case.
