So please dont delete the talk page for at least a week untill the article is done. Enlil Ninlil (talk) 07:11, 6 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Contradiction? edit

Is it "vulnerable" or "critically endangered"? The infobox and text say different. Punkmorten (talk) 13:01, 7 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Due to its low number, after an IUCN audit it will be considered critically endangered if it is ruled as a new species and not a subsecies or variant.--Mike - Μολὼν λαβέ 20:22, 7 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

No Scientific Name Yet edit

The name of this article is misleading. Pink iguanas have not been formerly named, and when they are, they almost certainly won't be Conolophus rosada because combining a feminine species name with a masculine genus name violates the nomenclature rules. Nobody knows yet what it will be named. - 209.162.56.50 (talk) 17:27, 11 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

The Scientific name is Conolophus marthae and the common name Galápagos pink land iguana http://www.mapress.com/zootaxa/2009/f/zt02201p010.pdf --Melly42 (talk) 22:02, 17 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
