What does "Effective 0901Z 13 March 2008 to 0901Z 12 March 2009 " mean? Can I have an explaination of somesort please? Jasynnash2 (talk) 08:07, 23 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

The Flight supplement is only effective between 9:01 UTC on March 13, 2008 and 9:01 UTC on March 12, 2009. At 9:01 UTC on March 12, 2009 the next edition of the flight supplement with updated information about Canada's aerodromes will come into effect. In short, it is the time span during which that source is valid. vıdıoman 09:06, 23 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

  • so shouldn't the reference be to this book/pamphlet as opposed to being to the wiki article about the book/pamphlet. The link quite clearly goes to the wikipedia article. Does the book/pamphlet that is referenced have someway that a hardcopy can be found from a library of somesort (IBSN number or similar)? Maybe this is just a formatting problem. Is there some other source for this information that would make a better reference? Do they perhaps have a website? Or an electronic copy of the documentation available online? • Additionally, shouldn't the reference be the Canada Flight Supplement if you are linking to that article? Or at least be linked to the relevant section within said article?Jasynnash2 (talk) 09:28, 23 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

I added the external link for the Water Aerodrome Supplement to Template:WAS so that this change would cover all Canadian water aerodrome articles. There is no free version of this publication available online and it does not have an ISBN that I know of. vıdıoman 00:49, 24 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thank you. Sorry if it seemed like I was just being a pain. I just wanted to understand a bit more and thought it best if people didn't need to "click" too often to find the references. Jasynnash2 (talk) 10:17, 24 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

No problem. You helped make an improvement. :) vıdıoman 23:34, 24 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
