  • " Hermon Atkins MacNeil was chosen as the designer for the monument, and New York City-based Delano & Aldrich served as the architectural firm" - I've got two questions about this. 1. Was MacNeil chosen in 1928, or another year 2. What was the process for selecting the design
    • 1. From the sources I've gathered, I haven't been able to find anything discussing which year MacNeil was selected to design the monument.
    • 2. I've added a bit to the first paragraph, cited from the Rosen source, that describes a bit of MacNeil's explaining the design of the monument. -JJonahJackalope (talk) 20:09, 16 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Go ahead and specify that the Union Army held the fort until the Confederates took it in '61
  • Go ahead and state that the war ended in 1865, non-American readers might not know that
  • "who were all descendants of garrison members from Fort Sumter" - Clarify that you're referring to the Confederate garrison of Ft. Sumter
  • Remove the further information link to List of monuments and memorials removed during the George Floyd protests since it doesn't seem to have been removed
    • I understand the monument hasn't been removed, but I still feel like having some link to that page gives readers additional details and greater context regarding the recent acts of vandalism and efforts to remove the monument. -JJonahJackalope (talk) 20:09, 16 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Add a brief description of what the monument looks like in the lead.

Solid work here. Placing on hold, there's not much to complain about here at all. Hog Farm Bacon 19:22, 16 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for starting this review, I hope to have addressed the issues you raised with the article, and if there's anything else I can do, let me know. -JJonahJackalope (talk) 20:09, 16 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
Looks good to me. Passing this one. (I've got a CSA memorial GA under my belt, too - Confederate Memorial State Historic Site). Hog Farm Bacon 22:37, 16 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
