Infobox and lead edit

  • Crescent Moon Studios in Miami, Florida → Crescent Moon, Miami, Florida in the infobox
  • Pipe Emilio Estefan Jr. to Emilio Estefan
  • "It was written by" → "The song was written by"
  • Anglo release of the version is not sourced
  • "It was released as" → "The song was released as"
  • Add what critics praised about the song
  • "Commercially, it topped" → "Commercially, the song topped"
  • Mention the ceremony for Pop Song of the Year

Background and composition edit

  • First para looks good!
  • Remove comma before Emilio Estefan
  • Shouldn't you mention the instrumentation here per the sources used in reception?
  • "the lyrics, she chants:" → "the lyrics, Estefan chants:" and cut down the amount of this quoted per WP:OVERQUOTE
  • Ditto for the translation quote, however both should have punctuation inside quote marks per MOS:QUOTE

Critical reception and accolades edit

  • "filmic number", and the" → "filmic number" and the"
  • Remove wikilink and re-introduction on Mi Tierra
  • End the lovely melodies quote
  • Pipe ballads to Sentimental ballad
  • "called it "another" → "called the song "another" and re-invoke the ref for this sentence
  • Pipe acoustic to Acoustic music on the direct mention instead
  • "describe as a pop hit."" → "describe as a pop hit"." per MOS:QUOTE
  • "gave it three out of five," → "gave the song three out of five,"
  • Remove pipe on Latin
  • "and emotional shading."" → "and emotional shading"."
  • Last para looks good!

I will get to work on this from next week as I'm feeling burned out from Wikipedia. Erick (talk) 17:04, 18 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Kyle Peake Hey Kyle, thanks for your patience. I think I got everything. Erick (talk) 02:00, 24 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Magiciandude: It is good you appreciate that, however the comma needs to be removed before Emilio Estefan, use the surname Estefan at the chants part and pipe Epic to Epic Records on the first instance instead. --K. Peake 09:33, 24 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Magiciandude: The Epic link is still the wrong way around and you need to fix the parameter issue. --K. Peake 11:37, 24 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Argh, I can't believe I missed it again. Did I get it this time? Erick (talk) 20:26, 24 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Pass now, you nailed the link at last! --K. Peake 07:37, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
