Very-Bad Redirect !

2010/Feb/07, I've been trying to find info about very-early NON-video computer-games that were text only with few or no rules, presenting a scenario to the player, who was tasked with typing in sentences to direct the game as to what his/her character would do, resulting, at each of these steps, in success or failure or loss of the game; sometimes represented by the death of the player/character. (I can't remember precisely what these games are called, as a group.) In doing this search, I find this stupid redirect, as though the only "computer game[s]" that have ever existed were/are "personal computer games". That's inexcusably stupid. Come'on, people. The crowd who updates & maintains Wikipedia is supposed to be an *intelligent* crowd. I would change it myself, right now, but I don't want to get into a combative metaphorical game of ping-pong with the idiots who think that this redirect, as it is now, is appropriate. johnravery —Preceding undated comment added 19:34, 7 February 2010 (UTC).

Instead of insulting your fellow editors, you should fix the problem yourself or initiate a discussion at Wikipedia:RfD. 72.195.132.12 (talk) 20:27, 19 August 2012 (UTC)

Redirect

Now (26-dec-2007) it's a redirect to personal computer game. That's a bad title to reference in articles about mainframe computer games. I think we need to can the redirect and have an overview article about coin-ops, consoles, pc's, etc. There may be one already. I'm gonna go comment at the pc games article. -- Akb4 (talk) 00:35, 27 December 2007 (UTC)

It has now been turned into a disambiguation page after a Help desk post.[1] PrimeHunter 16:53, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
