Talk:Comparison of virtual machines features

what is intended by the column "live memory allocation"? from the phrasing it sounds like changing the memory available to a running client/guest system, but that is at odds with the vmware workstation 5.5/6 entries which would then be incorrect (you cannot do that whether the client/guest supports the notion or not). the only other guess i've got is the ability to change the memory size when not running but after initial creation, but that seems too likely to be yes for every product (even virtualbox, contrary to the no it has there) and makes the word "live" seem misplaced. something else perhaps? 3d Acceleration

edit

Perhaps there should be a column for 3D acceleration support. -- 05:13, 21 June 2007 59.101.34.216

And network modes as well: direct (same MAC), bridged (virtual MAC), NAT, host only, none — lim 18:37, 3 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
