PROD edit

I fail to see why this one is singled out over all the articles in Category:Nations at the 2012 Summer Olympics. It should be kept as part of a series. 65.94.47.63 (talk) 04:23, 19 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Detailed edit

  • Per WP:TITLEABSENTBOLD, un-bold "Comoros" and "2012 Summer Olympics"
    •   Done
  • "beyond the second round of their respective events." - why not beyond the first? Neither did that either.
  • The second paragraph in the "background" section is confusing, You say "The two athletes that were selected to compete in the London games" but then you talk about a third athlete.
  • "53:49" → "53.49"
  •   Done MWright96 (talk) 06:11, 20 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • "(48,33 seconds)" → "(48.33 seconds)
  • "46 (and last)" → "46th (and last)"
  • "drawn into the" → "drawn in the"
  • "11:81 seconds" → "11.81 seconds"
  • Your prose about Ahamada is wrong. She took part in the preliminary round (a round that only the weaker athletes have to race in). She won her preliminary round heat and qualified for the heat round proper. You say "quarter-finals" , they aren't known as that. They are known as the "heats" as distinct from the "preliminary round". Please correct the section.
  • "freestyle which" → "freestyle, which"

Overall edit

A nice article with a few issues so putting on hold. I have asked for any grammatical changes for Ahamada's section due to the misinformation. — Yellow Dingo (talk) 22:34, 19 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Futher comments edit

@MWright96: Just a couple more minor errors:

  • "day of the" → "day as the"
  • "Ahamada finished seven" → "Ahamada finished seventh"
  • "and was unable to progress in the semi-finals" → "did not progress to the semi-finals"
    •   Done
  • Remove N/A and bye from key
    •   Done
