Avakian's New Synthesis edit
Anyone have any sources that connect the CPI MLM to Avakian's New Synthesis and provide that link to the body of the article. --Xcuref1endx (talk) 05:08, 2 October 2014 (UTC)
Yes the new synthesis is promoted as a scientific advancement of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, on their official website. Both the CPI (MLM) and RCP-USA are open about this. Yet attempts to include this in the article are continually reverted, for whatever reason, despite the connection.

"Neo-Maoism: a dubious affirmation edit
The so-called "post-Maoist" (namely the ones conceived by French intellectuals in the 1960's) theories are in antagonistic contradiction with the the synthesis made by the Communist Party of Peru (commonly and derogatorily known as the "Shining Path"), which announced Maoism to be the third, new, current and most advanced stage of the proletarian cience. With that said, it just cannot be considered "post-maoist" and Maoist at the same time. Also, one has to separate the anti-Islam ideology from a secular one, which is the one that the Party endorses, since it applies a mass line. --Guto2003 (talk) 19:43, 12 November 2017 (UTC)User:Guto2003
Notability edit
I was unable to find any reliable secondary sources on this party. If none are added, this article may/should go to Articles for deletion. Alsee (talk) 21:11, 26 December 2017 (UTC)
