intervention from AVD edit

AVD is banned from editing articles relating to Canada "interpreted broadly" so I suggest we ignore his contributions until the ArbComm has ruled on his situation. Homey 17:35, 12 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

LOL!
Then the 'ArbCom should take a look at this then. BTW, I an NOT editing the article, just the talk page. I will not stay silent on talk pages.

The ban includes talk pages, hence your being penalised for editing the talk page on your flag article. Homey 18:08, 12 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

"Justise Delayed is Justise Denyed".

The ArbCom does not even know what to rule on anymore. Until they decide what to rule on, and go ahead and do something, I am going to keep posting (on talkpage(s) only, not articles). At least dealing with me will prevent you from molesting gbambino's contribution, which are in my opinion, being unfair harrassed by you, with extreme prejustice.

" At least dealing with me"
Then the best strategy for me is to ignore you from now on. Homey 18:48, 12 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Hello HOTR,

Sure. I could care less. I am going to provide moral support to those people whom you have incessantly interfered with. Perhaps, my kind words will help them "keep the faith", and they will post, and defend their articles, knowing that people appreciate them.

I don't think you should count on that. Homey 19:12, 12 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

I don't mind your threats. The ArbComm are not mindless idiots, they actually think, and consider. I have given them alot consider, and they shall make a ruling in due course.

I wasn't threatening you. It's just my perception that you are an embarassment to the people you're trying to support. The fact that they've completely ignored you thus far should give you a hint. Anyway, I'll now join them in ignoring you. Homey 19:20, 12 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps, perhaps not. You are far more gifted that I, with the ability to manipulate words, and twist arguements. I am not that eloquent, but I know what I am talking about on the subjects that I post on. As well, I try to be the least biased that I can be. You and your proponents portray me as a troll, who is going after a "good editor" (i.e., you HOTR). What you have not factored in is that your "arrogant, and authoriative" editor behaviour is not limited to my contributions. Your record of POV pushing "is Legion". Sooner or later, you are going to rack-up "one harrassment too many" upon someones contribution(s). Unless you change your behaviour HOTR.

I disagree.

Simple concept: one Crown, Realms are equal, all Realms share the Crown equally. I know it's tough for you, but try to wrap your mind around it, as it's quite "relevent". gbambino 20:51, 28 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

This is the central point, and gbambino is correct. HOTR, wishes to emphasize the term British Crown as if it is something alien to Canada. This is not surprising, as HOTR is an avid anti-Monarchist, pro-Republican. Now, gbambino and Peter Grey only want to have the usage of the proper terminalogy inserted into the article.
The Dominion of Canada (its proper name is forbidden here at Wikipedia), is a Constitutiional-Monarchy with a Figure Head of State, i.e., the the Queen. The Governor-General is a Figure-Head of Figure-Head of State, all to preserve tradition. I personally seen nothing wrong with that, but then again I am not an avid anti-Monarchist, pro-Republican.
Canada, Australia, New Zealand are all Dominions (i.e., Independent Countries that choose to have the Queen as their Figure-Head of State), and their "Crowns" are in fact the British Crown. But this must be noted by careful wording, and not the anti-Monarchist Pro-Republican slanted editoralising that is the hallmark of HOTR.
