Added link to educational page aimed at high school level edit

The web site added contains enough data for school type projects etc. The top level page is here, http://users.bigpond.net.au/je.st/index.html, to see similar pages on cuttlefish etc. All photos are referenced to author other than our own ones. --Glandelf 13:29, 5 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Capitalization edit

Is it "Weedy Sea Dragon" or "Weedy sea dragon"? The article is rather inconsistent. howcheng {chat} 16:25, 6 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Wow edit

I gotta say, this is the coolest animal I have ever seen. Gozel talk 00:31, 7 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Number of species, rare reproduction in captivity edit

The body of this article and the one on leafy sea dragons indicates that each is a solitary member of its respective genus but is unclear about what taxon they share and whether that is a sea dragon taxon as such or they simply share similar common names. It would be nice to see a clarification of this.

Also, it's apparently rare for these creatures to reproduce in captivity, but there is now (June 2008) a "pregnant" male weedy sea dragon in a Georgia aquarium: http://wral.com/news/strange/story/3034761/

Any update on the pregnant sea dragon? Its eggs were supposed to hatch last summer.Wkharrisjr (talk) 19:43, 24 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

"Seadragons, seahorses and pipefish are among the few known species where the male carries the eggs" edit

I presume this should say "genera". Are there any other genera or species outside these genera where the male carries the eggs? --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 16:16, 28 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

It's the whole family. The sentence looked like a random addition, and didn't contribute to the surrounding text, so I removed it. Rhinopias (talk) 23:42, 28 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
