Notability

Please stop deleting my article.

When did this show start?

IMDb lists the series as starting in 2003, with four series running through 2006, while Channel 4 lists the first series as being the one that IMDb lists as season 5 (airing in 2007). --Metropolitan90 (talk) 00:21, 9 January 2012 (UTC)

I too noticed this discrepancy when I added more episodes to the list. While some people say IMDb is not a good resource, I've found broadcasters' websites can be even worse, for the purposes of determining which shows aired, and when. But I'm reluctant to add IMDb's ordering, which includes three more series, and swaps two series. Yet BFI has a partial list which seems to agree more with IMDb than with Channel 4 on this particular show. The burden of providing adequate references is on the author of the article. Instead of trying to disrupt Wikipedia by removing the AfD tag, why don't you, as the author, try improving it instead? Sparthorse (talk) 18:58, 9 January 2012 (UTC)

I tried but it kept getting deleted along with the upsetting news about the article getting deleted! Withdrawing AfD

I proposed this article for deletion at AfD at a stage when it gave no indication of the existence of the programme - no source, no indication of whether it was US, Australian, or whatever. Since Metropolitan90 has helpfully provided external links to its page at Channel 4 and, on the AfD page, links to reviews, I have rewritten the article and withdrawn my AfD nomination.

As the series is made up of independent films, any mention of one particular actor as "starring" in it, or even appearing, would be inappropriate.

If an editor is unhappy that an article they have started (not "their" article - see WP:OWN) is nominated for deletion, their remedy is to improve it. If I had noticed the repeated removal of the AfD message I might have been sufficiently irritated by this behaviour to think that an article with such poorly-behaved support was not worth my time trying to improve it. A mistake I made

When I accidentaly removed the message saying this article was deleted it was when I was rewriting the whole article agin due to my terrible citation errors and I couldn't get it back on. The other times were not me but someone else with me being logged in. So sorry for any inconvenience caused, I'm still a bit new to this. Androzaniamy (talk) 21:41, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
