It would be nice to know what kind of criteria the judges use. From someone who knows nothing about cycling and trying to get some info this article was not very useful. I still have no idea what the award is really for. Lonjers (talk) 10:40, 2 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

I've seen that it's also awarded for individual stages. Although not every stage - stages when no rider was impressive enough.
