From STUB to Slightly more Informational edit

I've significantly added onto this page, which was once a stub. I've added information that I have gathered from both scholarly and non-scholarly sources alike. I have also added pictures from Wikimedia Commons to better assist in creating a visual of the frog and its characterisitcs. The article is not yet complete;however, it is a great start to what can be a highly informational article. Columbiaspottedfrog (talk) 04:30, 23 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

confusing sentence edit

Moreover, the spotted frog tends not to inhabit areas where there are large amounts of grasses and sagebrush growing. These plants tend not to be as aquatic as their algae cousins; therefore, not being able to provide the frog with as good of a hiding place as do the aquatic plants. --Can you fix this sentence to use fewer double-negatives?PurpleWriter (talk) 00:35, 23 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

The Spotted Frog does not usually inhabit areas where there are large amounts of grasses and sagebrush growing. These plants are not as aquatic as their algae cousins. This makes them a bad hiding place for the spotted frog, since the frog is mostly aquatic.
I think that fixes the problem. Thanks! Columbiaspottedfrog (talk) 04:33, 23 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
