@VMS Mosaic, Me5000, and Unscintillating: A "no consensus" close does not mean "the article can be unilaterally removed-by-redirection later". Per Wikipedia:Deletion_policy#Redirection, if changing a page to a redirect is disputed, "an attempt should be made on the talk page to reach a consensus before restoring the redirect".
