FIXME: If anyone is willing to contribute a better (microscopic :-) image of color bleeding, feel welcome to do so. Image, of course, MUST be GFDL or other public license. -- Mtodorov 69 13:43, 16 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Is spreading of single color farther than intended also called color bleed or what is it called? edit

It is unclear from available references whether spreading of single color farther than intended in substrate due to capillary action and other factors is also called color bleeding or by some other name. Available graphic people weren't specific. -- Mtodorov 69 07:58, 17 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Clarified edit

Clarified by note in another patent, but a good old fashioned clear definition would still be welcome! -- Mtodorov 69 08:30, 17 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Mixed color, color bleeding image wanted edit

Any that would meet Wikipedia standards.

I tried to scan a photo from newspaper, but with poor results. I've seen true color bleeding on a microscope, but so far I was unable to take a photo of it.

In fact, a skeptic can make a notion that only "prior art" use of term color bleeding is illustrated. But what was intended is to show less than perfect results of application of color on substrate such as paper.

P.S. I hope nobody will sue me for copyright infrigement for scanning number 60 from a newspaper. :-) -- Mtodorov 69 13:05, 17 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
