The article uses the "Congressman" infobox, which is consistent with other members of the U.S. House of Representatives. I see no advantage to changing it.--Appraiser 02:55, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

There are References in the list that are dead links that I cannot change. The link to Congressman Peterson's decision to vote no on the PPACA is broken. I have found a new link here that I think should replace it. Mralex05 (talk) 03:53, 25 September 2013 (UTC)mralex05

In this edit I've removed the following unsourced content;

A reference to being a founding member of Blue Dogs, which is unsourced. Wikipedia is not a reliable source.

He is generally conservative on social issues; he strongly opposes abortion and has been one of the few Democrats to vote against even embryonic stem cell research and the vast majority of gun control measures. He has voted to ban physician assisted suicide and also to approve the flag desecration amendment. Peterson also supports the federal marriage amendment and the death penalty. His socially conservative views are not surprising given the makeup of his district. The 7th contains some of the most conservative counties in the state. As previously mentioned, it is also the state's most rural district; many DFLers outside the Twin Cities are hunters and trappers who oppose gun control.CFredkin (talk) 18:41, 13 September 2014 (UTC)

There have been many votes on the Patriot Act. Some of the votes had to do with the act in its entirety and others had to do with specific provisions. I don't think we can make a specific statement about votes on the Patriot Act without sources that specifically reference them.CFredkin (talk) 00:51, 14 September 2014 (UTC)
