Some of the colleges are missing shields. Can someone take care of this? Looking at the history, previous attempts have failed due to apparently legal issues. Could someone generate the remaining shields the way the other shields were generated? - T 09/11/2007 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.111.194.10 (talk) 01:06, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

More information!

While the table certainly has some uses, expanding it or creating a second table with additional information would be nice. Hard facts like the Admissions Category (per Cambridge homepage), annual fees and position (in terms a person not studying in Cambridge can understand) as well as soft factors like when the majority of living quarters were built or the formality of the college (commonly associated with the number of times per week there is a high table). All this information is certainly available from the Cambridge homepage, but Wikipedia could provide this on one single page for easy comparison and sorting. Also earlier versions of this page had pictures, I would suggest including a picture of every single college. This is supposed to be an overview page and pictures can be extremely helpful, transmitting a lot of information. --84.178.68.196 (talk) 18:57, 14 February 2010 (UTC)

sizism

the scrunched-in scarf colours vs the 'notes' section look rather disproportionate. OldChurchLady (talk) 00:02, 30 March 2010 (UTC)

Do you think the scarves should be thinner? Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 01:50, 30 March 2010 (UTC)
the scarves are rendered according to our screen resolution and font sizes, right? i just changed mine three times and the scarves always looked rather short compared to the 'notes' box. not sure if making them thinner would make them appear longer and proportional to the notes box. maybe just try to get the colours appear be the right proportion to the length?OldChurchLady (talk) 22:06, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

Inconsistent titling

Why List_of_colleges_of_the_University_of_Cambridge but Colleges_of_the_University_of_Oxford? Why the “List_of_”? My ‘vote’ is for shortening the Cantab URL. JDAWiseman (talk) 21:16, 12 September 2010 (UTC)

I see what you're saying. The guideline says that list articles typically begin with the word "list", implying it can be done away with, as has happened with several articles (e.g. Table of Ranks), and as the shortened title should still make the subject matter of the article clear, I shall go ahead and move the page unless there are any further objections. Undo

Hi, so I undid a revision - I would just like to say that this is because the university website specifically uses the word "Mature" (e.g. see here), and an "adult" is in the UK, in effect, anyone aged 18 or over (so not 21, as for mature colleges) - e.g. here a "young person" is defined as someone aged 17 and under; here it is suggested that an "adult" is someone over 18. Thus, the former term is better, in my opinion. It Is Me Here t / c 23:39, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

Fixed Assets

It appears that whoever typed up the initial Fixed Assets total had no idea what a "Fixed Asset" was. I've been going through the financial statements of several colleges and some of the numbers listed for individual colleges are in fact Total Assets (Fixed + Current) while some others are correct Fixed Assets. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 119.74.75.38 (talkcontribs) 14:58, 27 January 2015 (UTC)

Homerton Assets

Homerton seems to have no data for its assets but here in its official petition for collegiate status it quite clearly sates it has asserts of around £113,000,000 that is point 9 of the petition. This should be amended, as to be more informative an estimate is better than "N/A". http://www.homerton.cam.ac.uk/pdf/draft_petition.pdf
