On naming of subsection
editIs "User adoption" a misleading title? I would expect a section with this title to contain stats about how many users there are, but actually it's about Tarmak. Rename it to "Learning Methods" or something? 92.232.220.11
- @92.232.220.11: Renamed to 'Variants' -NottNott|talk 19:56, 4 February 2018 (UTC)
On making a standalone article

This article was protected in Jan 2009 for not meeting the notability criteria then. Since then more sources have been made available about the topic [1] [2] [3][4][5] (non-exaustive) that appear to be of a high enough quality. Dvorak Simplified Keyboard is the only other non QWERTY based keyboard layout to be notable enough to warrant its own article: but many of the sources above mention both of these layouts, yet ignore other ones found in the keyboard layout article. The Colemak section is much larger than the DVORAK section and could be reduced in the article while moving content over to the standalone article. -NottNott|talk 21:32, 2 February 2018 (UTC)
- The best method when an article is so protected is to use WP:AfC and have the draft article reviewed. If the article passes then the reviewer will arrange for the draft article to be moved here. Ronhjones (Talk) 21:54, 2 February 2018 (UTC)
- @Ronhjones: Goes to show how much I know about writing articles. Many thanks -NottNott|talk 21:58, 2 February 2018 (UTC)
