Hi Stanley! I think this article is well-informed and well-written! You have cited quite a few robust sources. I really like the fact that you added a lot of pictures; however, I think two of them are not very relevant and can be misleading. I would check if this fly species occurs in San Francisco, as your beach picture depicts the Golden Gate Bridge. Plus, the insect mating picture might not be as helpful if it is not the right species. I would also double-check if Coelopa nebularum and Coelopa pilipes refer to two species or one, as the two are connected with a disjunction in the fourth sentence in the lead section. Hi Stanley, good work on your article! It has quite a lot of information, even including a thorough discussion on the genetics of your fly. Most of my changes were sentence-level revisions which,I hope, make the sentences/words flow better. These line by line changes are visible under “View History.” I also italicized every time a species name was said, added some more information in the lead section so that it more accurately reflected what was in the article, and tried to link various phrases to relevant wikipedia articles in case readers wanted to learn more. Also--articles nominated for good article typically do not have references in the lead section. I left it alone because I didn’t want to potentially mess up your references so close to the deadline, but it’s an edit to keep in mind. Though both small, I made two new section called “Mutualisms” and “Enemies” to put the information you included about the fly’s relationship to other species. Hi Stanley! This is a great article, especially the sections discussing morphology and habitat. My changes were largely grammatical in nature, as well as a few word-choice revisions. I removed a reference to you in the article (you used the "I" pronoun which I think Wikipedia doesn't approve of). I also merged a couple of sections so that things flowed a little better, and removed a link which incorrectly referred to hatching as eclosion. I think it would be a good idea to talk more about lekking earlier in the article than under "Human Interactions." This would be a good thing to put in the "mating" section. Hi Stanley, thanks for working on this article! I thought there was very good coverage on this fly. I edited the article for grammar, punctuation and organization of writing. I also edited the article for concise and clear language (ex. editing out phrases like “the topic of…”). I added helpful hyperlinks for Russia, the North Sea, the Faroe Islands, and the Kuril Islands in Distribution. I also fixed the citation for source 6 (Butlin, Day). I corrected the capitalization of the headings and subheadings, and I also changed “Social Behavior” to “Mating” because “Mating behavior” was the only subheading under this section. I added the subheading “Laboratory studies” because there seems to be a natural topic change to add a new paragraph. I also changed “Life cycle” to “Life history” and changed “Diet” to “Food resources” to match our suggested Diptera article formats. Hi Stanley! This is a really great article! I made a couple of minor changes such as switching the order of mutualism and enemies to follow the order of the guidelines, but other than that I felt the organization worked well. A couple of other small changes were grammar and wording and adding a couple of hyperlinks. For clarification, I was wondering if the meaning of Frigidaire was also from the citation linked at the end of that paragraph in the taxonomy section? To improve the article I would also like to see more added to the enemies and mutualism section. Other than that I felt that it read really well as well as covered a good amount of categories.Srivera2019 (talk) 05:17, 6 November 2019 (UTC)

Life Cycle
