In Medicine edit

The name cocktail has been used for mixtures of pharmaceuticals, not only the mixture of antiretroviral drugs. A typical example being the Brompton cocktail.

But also mixtures of supplements like Myers' cocktail, which is not considered a pharmaceutical.

The names are usually defined by the person who formulated the cocktail or a reference to the place it was originally thought up or used. The name cocktail is of course a reference to the social drink.

I'm going to be bold and update the disambiguation page to reflect the more general use of "cocktail" to mean a mixture of drugs. --Mark Asread 19:20, 29 January 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mark Asread (talkcontribs)

In Movies edit

Does Bryan Brown's character, Doug Coughlin, merit mention in the movie following Tom Cruise? For example, "Tom Cruise and Bryan Brown"? Gauzeandchess (talk) 09:35, 31 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
