fate of cobra video? edit

Does anyone know what has become of cobra video now that Kocis is dead? There have been no updates on the website and as far as I know nothing is in production. Is the company dead? Is it possible Cobra Video will go from "is" to "was?" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.239.149.142 (talk) 10:09, 1 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Bryan Philips/Bryan Kocis edit

Why is Bryan Kocis listed as Bryan Philips? All the references on AVN list him as Kocis, so does the USC2257 compliance, so does the cobravideo.com domain whois. I can't find anything showing the name Philips. I'm going to remove the un-referenced Philips name at some point unless someone shows, with documentation, that it's a fictional name. Bryan Kocis uses "Bryan Philips" as his nom de plume as the director of all Cobra Videos and is listed on the Cobra website as the owner.

dig it. That should be included and referenced in the article. SchmuckyTheCat 02:03, 26 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Underage Sexual Abuse edit

I did NOT know this. Very scary, particularly in light of the underage "Brent Corrigan" mess. I googled Kocis and this was the first entry that came up. http://www.zwire.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=2257291&BRD=2259&PAG=461&dept_id=455154&rfi=8

Slang, unencyclopaedic words edit

Should the article use such words as "bareback", "cumshots" and "twinks" in the article, or do is there no other alternative? 88.106.230.39 22:47, 17 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

This is a bit of a delayed response (what's five years, in the long run after all). I just copy edited this article and decided to keep the terms because there are wikilinks to them, and they're the language used in the industry. Since no one else has weighed in during the last five years it seems like a non-issue at this point, but I just wanted to explain the choice I made for the next guy who comes around. Fair use rationale for Image:Cobra Video DVD Covers.png edit

Image:Cobra Video DVD Covers.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:23, 2 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
