Came here via the discone antenna page, to which I've been attempting to add a few minor polishes.
I've added a redirect from a new page coaxial dipole, as I would think of this antenna style as a "coaxial dipole" rather than a "coaxial antenna" - but I'm certainly prepared to be corrected.
With the greatest respect to the original contributor, the previous version of this article seemed to be little more than a very lightly-edited version of the page at searchmobilecomputing.techtarget.com cited in "External Links".
I shall look forward to seeing what better and brighter minds than mine can do with this page.
