  • A ray of light at the top represents the Khmer (Cambodian) civilization
  • The two [5-tiered] white umbrellas (sveta chatra) represents the King and the Queen over which they protect their subjects: the people
  • The Holy Sword (preah khan) and the Royal Crown (makuta rajya/mokot reach) are the symbols of Authority and Justice
  • A Gajasimha and a Rajasimha (kochasey and reachasey) are the power of the Khmer people surrounding the royal [palanquin] emblem
  • The term Preah Chau Krong Kampuchea represents leader of the Kingdom of Cambodia

I think it should be noted that the Holy Sword and Royal Crown are actual items of the royal regalia of Cambodia. --Dara (talk) 01:52, 20 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Elephant head ?

edit

The text says that "depicted on the coat of arms are two animals which are a gajasingha (a lion with an elephant head) on the left, and a rajasingha (a royal lion), on the right." I'm sorry: I can't see any difference in the bodies of the two animals in the present SVG file. No one seems "more elephant like" than the other. Is the SVG file not representing the royal arms correctly? Or do the two animals exactly look the same in heraldry? Then why to stress the difference in text so predominantly? --ThomasPusch (talk) 16:02, 26 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

OK, at a second glance there's an elephant-like trunk and one of the tusks in a lion's face. That should be enough to name the gajasingha half lion and half elephant. No more questions... --ThomasPusch (talk) 16:06, 26 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

When I finish writing the article, I put citing a reliable source later, can not do that?

Incomplete articles that you have prevented from being edited have caused some people to post them on Facebook and continue to share them on Blogspot and other news websites. Khmerloy9 (talk) 01:34, 5 January 2021 (UTC)

I took the time to revise this article little by little because I was busy making money, not just sitting around destroying other people like you. Khmerloy9 (talk) 01:38, 5 January 2021 (UTC)
