What's furthest from the sea? edit

The Ashby-de-la-Zouch location for the most landlocked place in the British isles is an estimate - would appreciate confirmation from someone who knows better!...Thedatastream 10:01, 1 September 2005 (UTC)

I make it somewhere to the northeast of Tamworth, but although The Wash is easy to measure from, the Mersey estuary and the Severn are hard, because it depends where counts as river and where as sea. It depends not on the saltiness or freshness of the water but the tidal movement. I don't know how far up the Severn the tides go, but 72 miles is a pretty good estimate. Of course, that is as the crow flies, and the driving time will vary. --LeedsKing (talk) 21:29, 16 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Why so little information on Series 6? edit

Why is there so little information on the current (2011) series? Could it be more than a list of sub-headings of the programme editions? ACEOREVIVED (talk) 15:31, 12 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Main presenters edit

The article could make it clearer that Nicholas Crane was the main presenter in the first two series of Coast, then Neil Oliver became the programme's main presenter. Vorbee (talk) 20:49, 18 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Dive Master edit

It may be of interest that the dive master for some of the open water diving was Richard Bull of Current State Diving in Bristol, and formerly of the pop band The Kursaal Flyers 84.9.122.132 (talk) 00:59, 28 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
